neighbourly foraging

There's a huge lilly pilly tree in the neighbourhood that's bursting with fruit. While the ones at home are a bright pink colour, these ones are a deeper cherry pink. The berries look almost overripe -- dried fruit and seeds are spread all over the pavers -- and many birds and fruit bats have been helping themselves to the goods. 

As an attempt to create an interaction with neighbours in this anonymous McMansion neighbourhood, I went door knocking to see if the residents were interested in sharing their fruits and getting some jam. They were!
