seeds sown last week : warrigal greens 

transplanted into beds : lettuce

direct sow : green manure (japanese millet + cowpea)

21 Feb

seeds sown : shungiku, 'scarlet runner' climbing bean (perennial), 'madagascar' climbing bean (short-lived perennial) **beans may be sown a bit too early

cuttings : mugwort, citronella geranium 

22 Feb

seeds sown : calendula, marigold (various), borage, zinnia

transplanted into beds : jalapenos, cayenne pepper

28 Feb

direct sow: carrot (red kuroda, paris market) 

**NB. garlic chives were flowering in late feb
