The lowest tomato on the strongest-growing vine is finally starting to ripen. It makes sense that they ripen one by one (or at least, truss by truss), starting with the fruit with the closest access to root nutrients.
The first group of vines are four varieties of cherry tomatoes, so they'll stay at about this size, I suppose. The bottom one is quite interesting - it not only has a pretty funky shape, but its leaves are huge compared to the other varieties, and are a fair bit darker. It also seems to be a determinate tomato since the [apical meristem] stops at a truss of tomatoes rather than a new set of leaves.
