aloe pups

The aloe vera that I planted out into soil had been looking a dull purple for quite some time, but I checked again today (after a few days of overcast and rain) and there's a few pups emerging. Success.

Notes from a Morag video: white spots on aloe indicate that it's a young plant, and when it becomes mature, it turns a full green. If it's purple it's not so healthy. You can cut a leaf off, split it in half, and apply the aloe to your skin directly. Find a way to secure it on for an extended period of time, until your skin has absorbed all the juices up.
