update - 24 July

Wild rocket is flowering, so get ready for some seed saving. Notice that this rocket has yellow flowers, as opposed to garden rocket, which has white flowers. The radishes still out in the ground are getting pretty plump, but I'll leave them out to seed. 

This spinach was grown from supermarket stems. It's also taken a couple of months, but now they're almost ready to eat.  

This is just a pile of coffee chuffs on weeds. The idea is that the chuffs will absorb the rain that's been drizzling down these days, and then form a thick layer that will smother the weeds. Test tr
