a real garden salad

This is a garden salad because the following ingredients:

- lettuce (3 types)

- mizuna

- dill 

- sauerpawpaw (see here)

- coriander

- marigold leaves

- marigold petals

- native violet flowers

were freshly harvested from the garden. The only outsourced ingredients are the black sesame seeds and olive oil.

Native violets are a winner: small and intricate, beautiful colour combination, detailed vein patterns, new flowers appear daily, makes any dish look instantly professional.
