marigold blooms

Big bushy marigolds. I'm not sure what variety they are, but they don't look quite like the ones I've seen in stores. The marigolds with this kind of petal formation comes in yellow and orange. When the centre bit of the flower (I probably should know the name of this - corolla? No, the stamen and pistil) is fully developed, it becomes like a puffball. 

Some of the petals are missing because I ate them.
